Where to base yourself
Almost everything above sits within twenty minutes of Grace Bay.
Grace Bay Road is the spine of Providenciales: resorts, restaurants and most tour departures. Blue Hills to the west is quieter and where the conch shacks are. Chalk Sound and Sapodilla Bay sit on the south side, about fifteen minutes from the airport. Getting between them means a taxi, a private driver or a rental car, and most first-time visitors find a pre-booked airport transfer the least stressful start.
